Did you know...

That the first side (5 songs) of Duran Duran's "Rio" LP has different versions of the songs than the ones released on the compact disc?

That there is an alternate version of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" floating around on vinyl?  With no distinguishing indications, it has additional instrumentation and new mixes of the classic 1973 release.  A friend of mine has a copy that made me a believer.  Both the origional and remixed versions have the same release number designation, SMAS-11163.

That the entire Z Z Top compact disc "Tres Hombres", released on the Warner Bros. label (3270-2), contains different mixes/versions of the songs than were origionally released on the London LP (XPS 631) in 1973?  There is no mention anywhere of this fact on the CD...  If you haven't got the LP, you can find origional versions of four of these songs on "The Best of Z Z Top" (3273-2) compact disc.  Listen and you'll hear what I'm talking about.
